2017 Twinsburg Stars & Stripes Travel Baseball Tournament - July 6-9, 2017 

It's a time honored tradition - every year the week after the 4th of July holiday, many of the top travel baseball teams in the state come to Twinsburg for the Stars & Stripes tournament.  The event is well run and always very well attended, with sell outs in most of our age divisions before spring breaks.

  • Seven age divisions, from 8U-14U
  • Three game guarantee - pool play games begin on Thursday night and go through Saturday with championship bracket play on Sunday
  • Two umpires for all Sunday games
  • Full concessions and tournament t-shirts
  • Tournament primarily held at Liberty Park and Glenwood Park in Twinsburg, both large, multi-field complexes
  • Many things to do in and around Twinsburg before, after, and in between your games
  • Professionally run tournament with a long track record, will get good communication and competition
  • Tournament software updates all schedules and results real time on TBL website

Parking is FREE at all locations, and there is no admission fee.

*Please note that parking is limited for the Idlewood Ball Field. Attendees may park on side streets near the field, on the opposite side of the street of fire hydrants. All cars must be on the same side of the street, cannot block mailboxes and driveways, and cannot park within 10 feet of stop signs. No parking on East Idlewood.

Concessions are available at Glen Meadow Park-Glenwood Fields, Idlewood Ball Field, and Liberty Park.

Concessions are cash only, and include beverages, chips, candy and pizza, etc.  Grilled hamburgers, hotdogs, and smoked corn on the cob are available at Liberty Park on Saturday and Sunday.

Never fear! Baseball themed fidget spinners will be on sale: 1 for $10./ 2 for $15. Cash only. Fidget spinners are a great way to keep players calm between games or reward siblings for enduring yet another tournament!

Coming in from out of town for the tournament?  
 
The Hilton Garden Inn is an excellent hotel located right off of the freeway, right near downtown Twinsburg, and is located just three miles from Liberty Park where the tournament will be held.

Fun n Stuff, a year round indoor/outdoor amusement park with batting cages, rides, video games, putt-putt, roller skating, laser tag, go karts, and much more is just six miles from Liberty Park and three miles from the Hilton Garden Inn.

This city run recreation area features four of the areas most well maintained baseball fields, two soccer fields, a playground, a half acre dog park, two picnic shelters, and trails for running and others that lead to a conservation area and also the Twinsburg Ledges.

2015 Twinsburg Stars & Stripes Tournament

Many thanks to the 46 teams that came out to Twinsburg to play in the 2015 Stars & Stripes Tournament!  The weather was gorgeous, the sportsmanship outstanding, and the caliber of baseball played was phenomenal!!!

The final results of the 2015 tournament in each of our six age divisions are listed below.

The 2016 tournament will take place the weekend after 4th of July weekend.  Expect to see more details on it right here as spring of 2016 approaches.  If anyone has any questions about next year's event before those details are posted, please send them to twinsburgbaseball@gmail.com.



2014 Twinsburg Stars & Stripes Tournament

Unfortunately the 2014 tournament was rain shortened.  Here's who ended up placing first and second in each age division.
 
9U - Was no 9U division (will be one in 2015)
10U - 1st place - Stallions Blue, 2nd place - Captains Baseball Academy
11U - 1st place - Twinsburg Tigers, 2nd place - Mount Lebanon
12U - 1st place - North Coast Red Devils, 2nd place - Twinsburg Tigers
13U - 1st place - Summit County Cougars, 2nd place - Captains Baseball Academy
14U - 1st place - North East Ohio Storm, 2nd place - Lake Erie Fusion

2013 Twinsburg Stars & Stripes Tournament

Below are the final results of the 2013 Stars & Stripes Tournament in all six age divisions.

9U - The Strongsville Stallions defeated Strikeforce 8-6 in the championship game. Click here for the final tournament bracket and results.

10U - The TWINSBURG TIGERS defeated Northern Ohio 10-9 in the championship game.  Click here for the final tournament bracket and results.
