"Twinsburg represents community baseball at its best. Their teams are consistently strong fundamentally and more importantly they play the game the right way; with respect."
Cleveland Indians President Mark Shapiro

THE 2ND ANNUAL TWINSBURG WORLD SERIES OF WIFFLE BALL - LABOR DAY WEEKEND 2015
After last year's wildly successful inaugural event that caught the area by storm and drew several hundred players and spectators to Liberty Park, The Twinsburg World Series of Wiffle Ball is BACK. On September 5 & 6, Liberty Park will be a Wiffle Ball madhouse, with hundreds of games being played on eight Wiffle Ball fields created in the outfields of Liberty's baseball diamonds, deciding champions in three different age divisions (7-10, 11-14, 15+). Registration is off to an incredibly fast start, and we are expecting a massive turn out from people inside and outside the community.
CLICK HERE to go to the event webpage. REGISTRATION IS OPEN!!!! Space is not unlimited, we can only take around 100 teams. And we are on pace to sell out. Don't miss your chance to take part in this awesome tournament, which is fun for all ages. We have 7 year olds and 60 year olds registered (the adult division is FUN). :-)

These seven kids are not only great baseball players, but wonderful young men. Every single one of them got their start in baseball playing in TBL. Every single one of them has a dad who helped coach them and other young kids the great game of baseball over the years. All of them have moms who cheered them on endlessly going all the way back to t-ball. They played in rec, they played in travel and they are about to leave us. These boys have since given back in many ways. Some of them ump, some of them help with travel tryouts, all of them have friends and siblings who played in the TBL that they've helped over the years. This is our little tribute to them, as they get set to officially leave Twinsburg baseball when they head off to college in the fall.
TBL PARTNERS WITH THE POSITIVE COACHING ALLIANCE
In February of this year, the TBL Board voted to partner with the Positive Coaching Alliance, a quickly growing national organization that works with youth and high school sports leaders, coaches, athletes and parents to help promote a positive, character building youth sports experience.
PCA offers a number of tools for all of the aforementioned groups.
The numbers of kids in America playing baseball from ages 6-12 is at healthy levels, but there has been a sharp drop off in the number of kids that continue playing after that point.
PCA is committed to helping coaches and youth sports organizations to create the positive type of atmosphere that leads to kids wanting to continue to play sports through their high school years.

THANK YOU TO OUR TBL SPONSORS!!!!
A reminder to all of our coaches, players and parents ...
1. These are kids
2. This is a game
3. Our coaches volunteer
4. The umpires are human
5. This is not professional baseball
We are always looking for new TBL board members. TBL is an all volunteer, non city affiliated entity that manages the many different aspects that go along with providing a positive youth baseball experience for over 600 children each year. Our board is a great group of people that meets roughly once a month, and we'd love to add a few new good people to the board this winter. Email us at email@example.com if you have any questions or potential interest.
TBL mandates that our volunteer head coaches take an online training course to become registered members of the National Youth Sports Coaching Association and also that they take an online concussion awareness training course. Both courses are also highly recommended for our assistant coaches and any other parents that help out with their children's teams.
