"Twinsburg represents community baseball at its best. Their teams are consistently strong fundamentally and more importantly they play the game the right way; with respect."
Cleveland Indians President Mark Shapiro
Like a lot of communities, Twinsburg sends its 12U travel baseball team to Cooperstown Dreams Park every year for the world's largest invitational youth baseball tournament and a once in a lifetime experience. The trip and the tournament come with expenses, and every year Twinsburg Baseball holds a fundraiser to help financially support the team.
This year, we are excited to announce that the fundraiser will be a Night at the Races event at Catered Elegance Party Center. Come join us for a night filled with friends, food, fun, libations, sideboards, basket raffles, and horse racing! The event sells out every year at 300 attendees, most of whom people you know from the community, and is an incredibly fun adult night out every year. The ticket order form is linked below, and for more information, email email@example.com.
2015 TWINSBURG "STARS & STRIPES" TRAVEL BASEBALL TOURNAMENT
The 2015 Twinsburg Stars & Stripes Travel Baseball Tournament will take place starting on Thursday, July 9th and ends with championship bracket play on Sunday, July 12th. Spaces will be filled on a first come, first serve basis with a max of eight teams per division.
Three game minimum, most teams will play one game either Thursday or Friday, with the top four teams in each division advancing to Sunday single elimination. Individual and team awards will be given to the finalists in each division, and concessions will be available at most fields.
This a very well run baseball tournament that we've been hosting for many years now. Most divisions usually sell out in the spring, so reserve your spot now!
To book your spot, for scheduling requests, or if you have any questions, contact Larry Carinci at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 440-821-6564.

Want to make some extra money while being around the best game in the world? Become a TBL umpire!
We're looking to add new umpires for the 2015 season, and registration will be open until April 1, 2015. CLICK HERE to get registered, and our Umpiring Coordinator will be in contact with you. All umpire candidates must be 12 years of age or older by May 1, 2015. 1st year umpires will mainly umpire the bases for the Juniors Division (9-10 year olds). 2nd year umpires will mainly umpire the Juniors and Minors (11-12 year olds). 3rd year umpires on up will mainly umpire the Minors and Majors (13-14 year olds).
The season runs from May 1 through July 4th. There will be a 2 hour instructional meeting at Liberty Park for all of the umpires at the end of April (exact time and date will be communicated on the website in early April). All 1st and 2nd year umpires are required to attend.
THE 2ND ANNUAL TWINSBURG WORLD SERIES OF WIFFLE BALL - LABOR DAY WEEKEND 2015

CLEVELAND INDIANS YOUTH BASEBALL CAMP COMES TO LIBERTY PARK IN TWINSBURG JUNE 8-12!
Every year the Cleveland Indians pick a handful of communities to bring their youth baseball camps to, and every year they pick Twinsburg! Not only does our city have an excellent reputation as a "baseball city", but each year we have a ton of kids turn out for this camp.
The camps run from 9 AM to 3 PM each day, and are offered for children of all skill levels ages 6-14. CLICK HERE to register your child and to have them get summer started by attending an excellent baseball camp right here in our own city!
TBL hosted a pool party fund raising event for our travel baseball programs on Friday, January 2nd at the Fitness Center indoor pool, and it was a big hit with over 200 in attendance! Like the Wiffle Ball tournament we debuted last year, we knew right away that this would be a no brainer annual event. Many thanks to the Fitness Center for hosting, to Teresa's Pizza for providing the food, and to all of you who came out to support the travel teams!
A reminder to all of our coaches, players and parents ...
1. These are kids
2. This is a game
3. Our coaches volunteer
4. The umpires are human
5. This is not professional baseball
We are always looking for new TBL board members. TBL is an all volunteer, non city affiliated entity that manages the many different aspects that go along with providing a positive youth baseball experience for over 600 children each year. Our board is a great group of people that meets roughly once a month, and we'd love to add a few new good people to the board this winter. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or potential interest.
TBL mandates that our volunteer head coaches take an online training course to become registered members of the National Youth Sports Coaching Association and also that they take an online concussion awareness training course. Both courses are also highly recommended for our assistant coaches and any other parents that help out with their children's teams.
